Thank you for your interest in applying to Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong for the 2028 Entry. You will be submitting your application 1 year in advance.
Deadlines:
First Round Application Cycle: August 2026 - 1 October 2026
Second Round Application Cycle: 2 October 2026 - 9 December 2026
Third Round Application Cycle: 10 December 2026 - rolling
The UWC movement seeks students who want to become change-makers for a better world–no matter their socio-economic, religious, national, ethnic or cultural background. If you are a passionate learner, excited at the prospect of studying and living with young people from around the world, UWC is for you. Important Notes & Selection Timeline:
- Financial Assistance: Applicants are not eligible for financial aid.
- Selected Candidates will be invited to interview during Challenge Day, July 31st 2027
- May-September 2027: Results announced (Conditional Offer, Rejection, Deferred to Regular Application the following year)
- April 2028: Official Offer Letters sent
- August 2028: Join LPC / Term begins
Applicants not offered admission in this round are eligible to reapply through Regular Decision for the following year.
Eligibility:
To qualify as an applicant through UWCHK, you will need:
- a) To hold a Hong Kong Permanent ID Card OR dependent visa OR special visa through the Top Talent Pass (TTPS), Quality Migrant Admission (QMAS), or Admission Scheme for Mainland Talents and Professionals (ASMTP) scheme; AND
- b) To be currently studying in Secondary 3 (or its equivalent) as of September 2026.
A complete application includes:
- Application Form
- Parent Statement - to be completed by parents
- Recommendation Form - to be completed online by references who knows you well but are not your relatives or friends. (They could be your school teachers, coaches or trainers for outside school activities.)
- Last 2 year school reports
- HKID
- A passport-size photo
- Passport copies
